How will I use my gold?

Posted by: meekowl on: August 20, 2007

Rainbows are a colorful spectrum
An arch ranging from purple to red
Each person sees them through different eyes
Some see nothing, others see hope for good things ahead.

I think they are a message sent from above
To remind us no matter how stormy life gets
The sun will soon follow creating a rainbow
With a pot of gold to help pay our debts.

If we use the gold only to become rich
The gold will soon tarnish, the clouds will reappear
It’s not the storm that will make our life sad
But our own selfishness is what we’ll have to fear.

So use this pot of gold with care
Because if used wisely you will find
The strength to out stand any storm
And a rainbow of a far brighter kind.
